Terms of Service

Effective date: October 23, 2026

These Terms cover founderfy.io, app.founderfy.io, Fy, founder sites at <name>.founderfy.io, and Founderfy's paid services.

1. Who we are

Founderfy is a brand of Juder AI LLC, a New Jersey limited liability company ("Founderfy", "we", "us"). By creating an account, buying anything, or publishing a site with Founderfy, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you use Founderfy for a business, you agree for that business too, and you confirm you can.

Contact: hello@founderfy.io · Juder AI LLC, 971 US Highway 202N, Ste N, Branchburg, NJ 08876.

2. Who can use Founderfy

You must be at least 18 to create an account or buy anything. The launch list stays open to anyone 16 or older, as the Privacy Policy says. You're responsible for everything done through your account, including by people you invite to a business. Keep your email inbox secure, since sign-in links go there.

3. Fy and AI output

Fy is an AI assistant that runs on Claude, a model made by Anthropic. Fy can be wrong, out of date or incomplete. You review everything Fy makes before you use it. Fy never sends an email, publishes a site or spends money without your approval.

Fy's answers and Founderfy's guides are general business information. They are not legal, tax, accounting or financial advice, and Founderfy is not a law firm or an accounting firm. For those, talk to a licensed professional; we're happy to point you to one.

We don't use your content to train AI models, and we use Anthropic's commercial service, whose terms say it doesn't train on what we send.

4. Plans, credits and billing

5. One-time services

6. Founder sites at <name>.founderfy.io

We host your site at an address made from your business name. You can change it on the Build screen. We may change or withdraw an address that's misleading, infringes someone's rights, or is one Founderfy uses itself. You're responsible for what your site says and offers. We can take a site down, with notice where we reasonably can, if it breaks these Terms or the law.

7. Email we send on your behalf

When you approve an email, we send it for you from send.founderfy.io, with your name and your business's name as the sender and your email as Reply-To. You are the sender under anti-spam law (for example the US CAN-SPAM Act). That means:

We add an opt-out line to every email and cap each business at 20 emails a day. We may pause sending for a business with high complaint or bounce rates.

8. Taking payments with Stripe

Payments for your business go through Stripe Connect into your own Stripe account. To use it, you accept Stripe's Connected Account Agreement. Your customers buy from you, not from Founderfy: you're responsible for your products, prices, taxes, refunds, chargebacks and customer service. Founderfy isn't a party to your sales and never holds your money. Section 9 covers the marketing commission.

9. Marketing commission

9.1 What it is. Sometimes Founderfy markets your business: for example in our posts, ads, emails or directory. When a customer we bring you buys from you, we earn a commission of 10% of what that customer pays you in their first 12 months. After 12 months, we earn nothing more from that customer.

9.2 When it starts. No commission is charged during the beta. Commission applies only to sales made on or after the start date, which we'll email you at least 30 days ahead. We'll never charge it on sales made before that date.

9.3 What counts as a Founderfy customer. Only a customer who pays through a Founderfy marketing link: a pay link for one of your products that carries Founderfy's signed tag. We give you a list of every such link we use. A customer who finds you any other way (your own link, your site, word of mouth, a search) isn't a Founderfy customer, even if they once saw our marketing.

9.4 The 12 months. The 12 months start on the date of that customer's first purchase through a Founderfy marketing link, and run for 12 months after it. During that time, their later payments to the same business also count, including renewals of a monthly product. We recognise a customer by the email address they pay with.

9.5 What's included. The commission is 10% of the amount the customer actually paid, after refunds. It excludes sales tax and amounts you collected but refunded. If you refund a sale, we refund or credit the commission on it. If a customer wins a chargeback against you, no commission is due on that payment.

9.6 How we charge it. Stripe deducts it from each Founderfy sale as a platform fee, so you never get a separate bill. You see it on the sale in Stripe and in Founderfy. Every sale in Founderfy shows whether it was a Founderfy sale and the commission on it.

9.7 Disputing a sale. If you think a sale shouldn't count, use Dispute on that sale in Founderfy, or email hello@founderfy.io, within 60 days of the sale. Tell us why (for example: an existing customer, a duplicate, a test purchase, or a link someone shared without our marketing). We'll pause the commission on that sale and answer within 14 days, with the evidence we relied on. If we can't show the customer came through a Founderfy marketing link, the sale doesn't count. If you disagree with our answer, section 18 (Disputes) applies.

9.8 Fair play. Don't send customers you already have through a Founderfy link, and we won't count sales from people who were your customers before the start date when you show us that. We won't use your marketing links in spam or in places you've asked us not to.

9.9 Changes. We won't raise the rate or lengthen the 12 months for customers we've already brought you. Any change to the rate applies only to customers who first buy after the change, with 30 days' notice by email.

10. Your customer lists

People who sign up on your site or test page join your customer list. That list is yours, and you decide how it's used, within the law and your own privacy notice. We store and process it only to run Founderfy for you, as your service provider. You can export it (CSV) at any time.

11. What you can't do

Don't use Founderfy to: break the law; send spam or buy email lists; sell anything illegal, regulated without a licence, or deceptive (including fake reviews, get-rich-quick schemes, and unlicensed financial, medical or legal services); infringe someone's rights; collect sensitive data such as health or ID numbers through your site; try to get around credits, limits or security; or make Fy produce harmful content. We may suspend an account that does.

12. Who owns what

You own your content: your ideas, answers, documents, site text, customer lists and what Fy makes for you, as far as the law allows. You give us permission to store, copy and show it only to run Founderfy for you, and to show your site publicly once you publish it. We own Founderfy itself: the app, Fy, our templates and our brand. Feedback you send us we may use freely.

13. Beta and test mode

Founderfy is in beta. Features may change, break or stop. While payments are in test mode, no real money moves. We'll tell you before anything you rely on goes away.

14. Disclaimers

Founderfy is provided "as is". We don't promise that your business will succeed, earn money, or that Fy's output is right. To the extent the law allows, we disclaim implied warranties such as fitness for a particular purpose.

15. Limits on our liability

To the extent the law allows, we're not liable for lost profits, lost data or indirect losses. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the greater of what you paid us in the 12 months before the claim, or $100. Nothing here limits liability that the law doesn't let us limit.

16. Your responsibility to us

If someone makes a claim against us because of your content, your site, your emails or your sales, you'll cover our reasonable costs of that claim.

17. Ending your account

You can close your account by emailing hello@founderfy.io. We'll cancel your plan, take down your sites and delete your data as the Privacy Policy describes. Export anything you want to keep first. We can close an account that seriously or repeatedly breaks these Terms, with notice where we reasonably can, and refund unused top-up credits if we close it without cause.

18. Disputes

Write to us first at hello@founderfy.io and give us 30 days to fix it. If we can't, these Terms are governed by New Jersey law, and claims go to the state or federal courts in New Jersey, or small-claims court where you live.

19. Changes to these Terms

We'll post changes here and update the date. For important changes, we'll email you at least 14 days before they apply. Using Founderfy after that means you accept them.
